Funding approach

The ChildInvest Foundation supports high-impact initiatives that enable children, young people and families to thrive. Our work focuses on low- and middle-income countries, where poverty, inequality and limited opportunities continue to affect the lives of millions of children and young people. 

We believe lasting impact is achieved through strong partnerships, locally led solutions and evidence-informed approaches that create opportunities for future generations. 

The Foundation has traditionally focused its funding on programmes delivered by SOS Children’s Villages. As part of its strategic evolution, the Foundation aims to broaden its funding approach and, in line with its charitable purpose, gradually support selected initiatives beyond SOS Children’s Villages to further increase its impact for children, young people and families. The planned expansion is subject to the amendment and approval of the Foundation’s statutes.
