Why does the foundation have a different name nowadays?

We have opted for a new, internationally recognizable name so that we can serve as a partner for international and cross-border philanthropic support for the global community of donors. This is an important step towards fulfilling our foundation’s purpose – supporting a self-determined future for young people worldwide – for the long term. 

Why is the foundation now operating more efficiently than before?

Our digitalized management ensures a further reduction in administrative costs and, therefore, a greater financial contribution to supporting the SOS Children’s Villages’ projects worldwide.

You, too, will benefit from the simplifications that digitalization brings to the set-up, management and monitoring of your endowment.

Can I also support projects in Germany through the ChildInvest Foundation?

No, our program only supports the international programs of the SOS Children’s Villages worldwide in over 130 countries outside Germany. A detailed overview of the countries in which we provide financial support with your help is available here (in german).
